When does the degree program start?
The masters in school psychology online program is an eight-week term program and is open for enrollment during each of those respective enrollment periods. Learn more with our eight-week term academic calendar.
How long does it take to complete the program?
The pupil personnel services credential in educational psychology online degree is a 60-credit program and takes a minimum of three years to complete, over 13 terms.
What careers can I pursue after graduating from an educational psychology program?
You can be an educational psychologist working with students, teachers, and parents in a K-12 school setting. You can conduct program evaluations and behavior analysis, assess the students' learning needs, and provide California school counseling service if you're in the location.
I already have a master’s degree. Can I just complete the PPS credential?
Students may qualify for the PPS-only option if they already hold a master’s degree in a related field (counseling, MFT, counseling psychology, special education, etc.). We ask prospective students to fill out a transfer credit evaluation form and submit a copy of their transcripts to determine if they qualify.
Can I work full-time and complete the program?
Since some practicum hours are required during the school psychology program, it is recommended that graduate students limit work to no more than 35 hours per week. Scheduling flexibility is also recommended so that students may complete some of their required practicum hours during typical K-12 school hours.
What is the modality of this program?
All coursework for the MAE in school psychology with pupil personnel services credential program can be completed online, allowing you to tailor your education to your schedule.
